A print PDF fixes the layout of every page.

For a printed book, the page size, text placement, margins and page numbers need to be set. A print PDF keeps that layout in place. An EPUB works differently: the reading app can change the text size and the way pages flow.

We make the interior from your Word manuscript, using the classic, modern or warm style. You can download real PDF samples from our homepage to compare the typography and chapter openings. The samples contain fictional text.

Confirm the size and printing requirements first.

The standard PDF is 6 × 9 inches, or 15.24 × 22.86 cm, with a black-and-white interior and no bleed. No bleed means images do not extend to the trimmed edge of the page. The cover is a separate file and is not part of our service.

Ask your printer or publishing platform whether it accepts this size and interior format. Check its page-count and file requirements too. We check the produced files personally; the printer or platform still makes its own acceptance decision.

Start with an edited Word manuscript.

This service fits mainly text-based books such as practical nonfiction, guides and short memoirs. The package limits are listed beside this guide. Use Heading 1 for chapter titles and ordinary paragraphs for body text.

Run the complete .docx file through the free browser check before paying. Tables, footnotes, complex layouts and other unsupported elements need a separate assessment. Do not remove important parts of your book just to pass the check.

Receive both book files in one package.

The fixed-price service includes the print PDF and an EPUB 3 from one suitable manuscript, in one chosen style. We deliver within five working days after payment and receipt of a suitable manuscript. One compiled list of layout corrections is included after the first delivery.

We format and check the files. Editing, cover design, an ISBN, printing and uploading to a retailer are not included. You remain responsible for your text, publishing choices and the final check with your printer.
